Q: I need help finding towels that stay soft when line dried. The ones I have now fluff up in the dryer, which is lovely except that I don't have a dryer; when they're hung to dry, they end up being stiff and scratchy.
They do soften a little after use, but it's really unappealing after a hot shower to dry off with a freshly laundered yet strangely cardboard-like towel. They also take ages to dry in a humid climate. Sometimes they start to smell bad before they're dry and so I have to rewash them, which is ridiculous. I'd like to buy new towels that dry quickly and have a more appealing texture when line dried, yet are budget friendly. Any suggestions?
