In Montreal, Lufa Farms created a 31,000 greenhouse garden atop an office building that grows over 25 varieties of pesticide-free veggies. They're hoping to bring their business south of the border, planning expansion to Boston, New York, & Chicago.

The greenhouse roof is a cool concept as long as you have the structural capacity to put that on the roof. Most buildings do not.
