During the holidays we usually do something special for displaying our Christmas cards, like a garland, card stand or table arrangement. But there are other times when we amass a collection of pretty cards, like Valentine's and birthdays. This provides a cute and semi-permanent place to display such transient collections.
The lines make a graphic departure than the flat bulletin or magnet board, and provides a solution if you prefer not to use pushpins or magnets.

This could be a total DIY - with an old frame, some foam core, some fabric, some spray adhesive and a long straight edge to make the folds with...

Great idea...definitely a DIY, but much more sophisticated than a cork board!
