Inspiration can be found in the smallest of places. Designer and artist Sander van Heukelom found it in the cap atop of a spray paint can.
Sander’s show, The Artistry Of The Cap, featured his passion for the spray paint with a series of painted “fat caps.” Fat cap being a term coined for the actual cap itself.
He then took the idea one step further and created two “Fat Cap Chairs.” The chair comes in two designs, the New York Fat Cap Chair© and Hooded Fat Cap Chair© (which the artist can be seen sitting in above). Both chairs are available for order and can be found here.
