Wrought metal is intricate, detailed and interesting - not to mention strong. Not bad for a piece of furniture, eh?

Um, just fyi, cast iron and wrought iron are two entirely different animals.
The terms are not interchangeable..
Yeah: Cast iron means it was cast (poured into a mold), and wrought iron is iron that was wrought (worked) by hand into the curlicues and such.
Big difference, as far as iron goes. (Cast iron furniture bases and such are hot hot hot right now - if you find one you can sell it for $$ on CL or eBay. Wrought iron, not so much.)
One of my main spelling pet peeves is seeing CL ads for "rot iron." ::Sigh::
That or 'rod iron'.... major pert peeve. Boggles my brain that cast iron commands $ right now when it's wrought iron that is truly art. That said, I am fan of both.
