Ouch! There's nothing like the burn of a hot seat belt buckle on a summer day We're public transporation people these days, but we can't soon forget how hot those car seats can get. We still remember laying our wet towels over the seats coming back from the swim club when we were kids. Now someone's come up with an even easier solution- the Car Seat Chiller.
The Seat Chiller fits any car seat and is made of non-toxic and flexible icepacks, vinyl, and flannel. Keep the chiller in the freezer, and place it on the hot seat before your child sits down.
You could also use it on the stroller. Or...how about using it on your own car seat after you've cooled theirs off? They call that the "bonus" on the website.

interesting... BUT
if it chills in the freezer, then what do you do to chill your seat when you've just come to your car from 2 hours inside the mall (or wherever)?
I came upon this the other day and was so glad to see it because this has been my concern lately. How to keep my sons buckles from getting too hot.
From this idea I pulled out some ice packets from my freezer and used them when I went to the store- they worked so well!
Of course this product keeps the entire seat cooler and probably looks better.
I wonder if you can use this in a stroller?
funny. i was on ebay searching for a cover for our britax and found this by accident. it's definitely not as nice looking (actually, it's kind of ugly), but it sounds functional.
