- What I Love About My Small Home:
- I love the light and airy feel of the house. We picked the light walls and diagonal check floor throughout the downstairs for this purpose. I think this makes the house seem much bigger! I also love that we designed and built the house on a very small budget. We had to be creative and resourceful, but after being in the house for four years, there is not much that I would change!
- Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space
- Controlling clutter is our biggest challenge. I am constantly rearranging cabinets, and in the two closets we have to find the best way to use the storage space. I also use hooks and baskets to keep things organized. The truth is that I find our small home much less overwhelming than a larger space. The things you choose to bring in are the things that you love.

I have a feeling that Jerry doesn't have a lot of say in the decor! ;) I love it though, great colours and airy/beachy feel to it
The color choices are nice, but this is very grandma. Plates on a wall in a bedroom? How does one even decide to do that? I hope Jerry at least has a garage that he can use as his own retreat.

Over the river and through the woods...I wishI could be Little Red Riding Hood cuz I would never leave this cozy, li'l cottage. Reminds me of a fairytale. So unapologetically feminine. You've got a good man who allows you to decorate to suit your taste.
It's lovely, but I was surprised to see "Cara and Jerry's." Looks like it's just Cara's to me.
