What are these really like? AT reader, Robin, tipped us off to these cardboard shelves by Shelves2go. They're completely recyclable, as they're made of cardboard. So they can be recycled or flat-packed when you move.
The website boasts 50 pounds per shelf, which isn't bad for a paper-based piece of furniture. We, like Robin, were frustrated with the lack of good photos of the product but we find the idea worthwhile. So we thought we'd put it out there and see if any readers have experience and comments on these. What d'ya say?

By "lack of good photos," do you mean beyond the photos that you get when you click on the photos link at the bottom? I thought the photos presented a good idea of what these are like - a certain type of thing for a certain place and time, like a dorm room. The shelves in the first photo with the books already looked like they were sagging, although maybe it was just a badly selected pic. What I want to know is the price for this temp furniture.

I'm sure you can spray paint the thing any color you want. It's cardboard after all :)
