No matter how much space there is on my couch or on chairs around my living room, inevitably, one of my friends will grab one of my pillows and will plant themselves on my living room floor. I've never been a fan of big pillows on the floor of my living room because they look messy. It was the same case with poufs — for the longest time I wasn't a fan of the look — but lately I have started to see poufs with more structure, and I've started to grow fond of them.

Nomade Express Slee...
This is just the post I needed. Coming from a country where it is very common to sit on the floor (with cushioning of course) it has been hard for me to adapt to having nothing but sofas and chairs readily available. I've been looking for fabric to make quality floor pillows and poufs because I love sitting on the floor.
I have sometimes been called a carefree pouf.
Hahaha, patrick!
Nice Patrick!!!
The JA room reminds me of the Barbie doll rooms I used to create when I was a kid. Though I never thought about a Barbie sunburst mirror...
Whoa, Barbie sunburst mirror??!!! How cool!
...wonder if those fantastic silver poufs were inspired by Jiffy Pop!
That mushroom pouf taunts me again. Seriously, I need that pouf but $168 could buy so many other things.
I have a couple of poufs from CB2 and I love them, but no one EVER sits on them! My guests will sit on my floor if the couches are in use.
patrick wins
I love the CB2 poufs! (Until today, I thought it was "poofs")
Nate Berkus also sells the silver pouf on HSN for about $99
I've considered knitting ones similar to the CB2 examples, but was never sure if people would like these or think they are weird.
Wow, that Barbie mandala reminds me of ancient Esther Williams swimming movies, where the bathing beauties did "water ballet"! (I'm pretty old, but the movies are older -- from the 30's and 40's I believe... saw them on TV...)
I have the CB2 pouf and it's great, but be warned: if you actually use the thing, as I have, it flattens, big time. Just like any bean bag type chair thingy I suppose. If anyone knows if this particular one can be refilled, please let me know!
Haha, I love the rock shaped ones. So impractical, but adorable.
Ironically the least flaming thing in the first picture is the fire. Wow.
I must get me a pouf at some stage. I have floor cushions in my living room, but poufs would be more neat and structural.
Where can one buy the pink poodle?
oh those silver poofs. I'm not sure where you would get the pink poodle but I bought a white one that is the same size last week for a great price:

It now sits patiently at my entrance.
