It's not always easy to find a place to hide all of the things that accumulate over time. Sometimes it takes a little know how, trickery and magical powers to figure out where to effectively hide everything so our homes can look as spotless as possible. It's great that furniture designers have given us a piece of furniture that is made for just that &mdash hiding stuff.
That magical piece of furniture is the credenza. It serves the purpose of hiding and holding whatever items aren't deemed fit to be seen. Whether those items are records, booze, books or whatever &mdash a credenza is a great option.
Credenzas can be found in any major furniture retailer, Craigslist, eBay or you can even fashion your own. Check out these carefully considered space saving credenzas:

Just picked up a Torsby cabinet from IKEA to serve as an excellent credenza.
Looking at the tv from this angle will give you a pain in the neck.
I think credenzas are going to make a strong comeback as an alternative to the "wall unit" media centers of the past few decades. A credenza can hold the media players, game consoles, and a good ole media center PC and still have room for hidden speakers. A well disguised HDTV can be mounted on the wall behind. So nice!
