- What I Love About My Small Home:
- It's cozy! Living in a small space forces me to utilize every inch and only allows for things that are not only beautiful but functional. I'm constantly re-evaulating what I have in my home and what I bring in, making sure that only what's necessary and practical stays in.
- Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space
- Being newlyweds and on a SUPER budget, I had to learn to be thrifty. This is actually our 7th couch! During this process, I bought furniture at great prices and when I found something better I would resell for more and was able to afford higher end pieces that I loved. I've been able to furnish my entire apartment while making money!

I love your bedroom! It is simple but really charming.
you gave it character despite it being a typical generic apartment. well done :)
Cools points for having a banjo.
Aren't you clever!
Nice home. I really like the couch. Does it have a single cushion? Can you please provide the source?
Good business concept, and adorable apartment!! I love the pair of rain boots by the dining table.
You smart
Agreed. Very smart. : )
Yes, love the rain boots (too cute) and your entire dining area. Nice work.
I just love your couch and the cool matching tables you have in front of it. Makes me wonder what things I could find at a good, thrifty price if I just put in the effort!
this is the best "cure" for the row of closet doors in so many newer apartments -- love how the chair slows it down!
That side table/cabinet by the couch is fabulous!
Very cozy, good flow throughout the space. I love the simplicity of it all, and the mid-century accents are just right. I think that maybe a different choice of coffee table would tie in the living room a bit better? perhaps something like this:

@REXRAYFAN: My husband is a touring musician so I have to give the "cool points" to him.
@PURPLECHARM: yes the couch does have a single cushion. It's the Bantam sofa from DWR. I got it on craigslist for $600. Here is a link to buy it new:

@ NIGHT: The vintage cabinet by the couch is by Lane and holds all of our records. It's one of my favorite pieces. You can learn more about it here:
