I love that my apartment is in the heart of West Chelsea - steps from the Highline, Hudson River, and restaurants. It has become my little reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city. Three of My Best Tips and Tricks for Creating a Successful Small Space::
-Don't follow a trend just because it is popular. Choose furniture and items that you like, and let your home be a reflection of you. Create a space that you look forward to coming home to every day. -I like to entertain often, so I make sure the bar cart is always stocked with treats. -Get creative! This also doubles as an extra station for food or drinks when entertaining, or a "drop spot" for my bags after a long day. -It's the little things (like fresh flowers) that make a house (or apartment) a home. -Change it up! If you start with neutral furniture, adding or changing accents like new pillows, throws, or accessories are easy and inexpensive ways to refresh your space.
