Jumping on the Murakami train that's stopped at the Brooklyn Museum, The New York Times rounds up some cartoonish furnishings designed for adults in this week's Personal Shopper. In addition to Frank Kozik's Smorkin' Labbit Stool that can be found at Kid Robot, the list includes bed linens, wall decals, cushions, textiles and serving ware. Our favorites after the jump...

Créa Créa coatrack from Pylones.

Quilt from Urban Outfitters.

I love whimsical things like the Labbit stool... I'm so grateful for a Kid Robot like store in Baltimore called Atomic Pop!
We are starting to get kidrobot overload in our apartment. What started as a couple a few years back is starting to be more of problem. Since the bathroom has high ceilings and is sort of a blank slate I think this may turn into their display room. I could not imagine spending $1,000 on the Smorkin Labbit stool......though I do have friends who would consider it.
Yes, they have a way of multiplying, eh? ;-)
I've got the kid robot little vinyl bunny Ribeye on my desk. He's so great with his little meat cleaver. I really only eat meat, hardly any fruits or vegetables (and by hardly i mean none), so he's my mascot.
i like the stool. i have a tiny smoking salt shaker. he stands gaurd by the group of lil' homies.
anyione know of something i could put on my wall along those lines that isn't too pricey?
is there a particular reason you link to the nytimes article on this instead of directly to the source? i'd never heard of kidrobot so i googled them. fey. shameless self promotion of ridiculously overpriced items with not-quite-brilliant marketing behind it.
mariegael,
I just recently bought a poster from a new Etsy shop that might be what you're looking for. The store's name is jupeykrusho. It's only $14 and the customer service is amazing.
