Shielded in a glass facade that has been screen-printed with a pattern, this house outside of Pamplona, Spain is striking in its simplicity from the exterior. Designed by Vaillo + Irigaray, the interior includes a open-air courtyard and one of the coolest staircases we've seen in a while...
The house is on the edge of a golf course and the goal of the printed facade was to blend into the surroundings.

Oh, my. If the goal was to blend into the surroundings--with "surroundings" meaning ordinary houses and apartments in close proximity--I don't think it's working.
I like the back...but not the front. The interior is incredible. I agree with sally305. I'm not seeing any neighborhood 'blend' factor.
I think it's supposed to blend with the grass, not the hideous houses around it...
What an amazing space! Love the stairway...
