- What I Love About My Small Home:
- My studio has made me realize how much I can do with a very small amount of space. While I would love to have more closets, I have found that my studio is plenty of space for me. It's easy to maintain but I can still have friends over and entertain.
- Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space
- The biggest challenge is definitely storage. I only have one closet in my apartment. I have solved this by using furniture that has a lot of extra storage. The bookcase that separates the "bedroom" from the "living room" has closed off boxes which store extra kitchen supplies, paper work and various other odds and ends. My TV stand is a dresser which holds most of my clothes. I also hid a small storage unit behind the armchair, and have baskets underneath the coffee tables and end tables.

Beautifully done, I think you've got the proportions of your furniture just right and that makes a huge difference.
I love this! it doesnt look cramped at all and youve laid it out well. I also love that wine holder! of only I drank wine...
PS- Go Caseys!

Beautiful apartment!! It feels so much bigger than a 295 square foot space. You have excellent taste, maybe you could decorate my apartment some day :)
It looks so open and roomy for 295 square feet. The easy chair looks so inviting.
I love this! Love the yellow color throughout and the little dining table. It doesn't look crowded at all - you've made it actually look spacious! :)
Very nice layout of furniture, I agree with the others who said this seems a lot larger than 295 sq ft! Your spaces seem separate but it still seems like you have plenty of room for everything.
This is so cheerful and well laid out. I agree it looks MUCH bigger because it's so uncluttered and ordered. It's smaller than the other entries but less crowded.
well done! i like it a lot!
Very nice! Soothing colours all around.
Love it! Just think you need a few more pictures of me to make it even better! haha
One of the best uses of a space this small I've seen so far! Love it!!
especially love the NY painting you made and the whole layout!!
I love what you did here. =) You were able to create all necessary areas even though the space is so small, and you did it so tastefully. Well done!
Super cute, wish I could see a pic of the bathroom too! :D
Agree you've done an *excellent* job of separating and defining spaces without closing anything in. Very nice!
Awesome! You did a great job with the layout. It doesn't look cluttered at all.
beautifully done.
if you were to raise the bed higher you could fit more storage under it. all it takes is 4 x 4's for the corners, 2 x 4s for the frame and cross pieces deck hangars to affix firmly and 3/4" ply for a deck. very sturdy and can house a ton of stuff. i built our bed for less than $50, though lugging the lumber in was some work out.
Very well done! Doesn't seem like 295 square feet, it feels somewhat spacious from the pictures.
I agree, it doesn't feel too small at all. When I saw how many square feet it was I went back through all the pics and took notes on your layout :) So cute!
Awesome
I like that dresser! What is it?
Best darn use of space I've ever seen! Love it
WOW Casey, you really have a knack for decorating! The color scheme and layout are absolutely fabulous. So cheerful and inviting!
seems like you have plenty of room for wine!
what are y'all using to do these floor layouts
Love the apartment though better I'd lose all the wine storage and use it for storage for better things. Another downside is the placement of the bed - I'd knock things off the shelf every night.
Yellow and white combo is super for a small space!
Stacymano, that's the Hemnes dresser from IKEA.
EVERYTHING HAS BEEN ALREADY SAID! YOU DO HAVE A BEAUTIFUL AND INVITING HOME. THE COLORS ARE WARM AND SOOTHING AND I'M SURE IT'S A PEACEFUL RETREAT FOR YOU TO GO HOME TO EVERYDAY! ENJOY IT AND SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS. GREAT JOB. I HOPE YOU WIN IN THIS CATEGORY.
well done. cheery, bright and welcoming.
love this space. would LIVE here, anytime =)
Soooo many wine bottles. Just screams "priorities." :)
I love the wine bottle holder on the wall. Beautifully decorated.
