Name: Casimir (17 months)
Location: Suomi/Finland
This was a dressing room before, and now it has turned in to a nursery. It still has all the clothes cabinets, and the space is small (only about 10 square meters).
It has only one wall to put things on, and there are lots of DIY projects like the teepee tent, cushion covers, and duvets. The kick bike and kick car have been renovated (painted, added numbers etc). The floormat is custom made to look like a racetrack, and there are many scandinavian products like Brio toys, Ikea Cabinet, Eero Aarnio Puppy toy dog, etc.
Thanks, Stefanie! Well done!

Sprout Side Table
This nursery is a minimalist's dream! I love how you kept it open and clutter free : ]
What an adorable and smart little play kitchen! Fabulous DIY idea!!!
Yes, I would LOVE to hear more about the kitchen. I LOVE it!!!
Nice, neat & nothing 'Babyland' about it! Looks great!
Great use of a small space!
So nice!
Hi and thanks for your lovely comments!
The play kitchen is made to an small serie table(you can find similar in for example in Amazon). The smaller one has stickers that look like cooking top (the same stickers type that you can use in wall for decoration).
The bigger table has magnetic sticker. Kids can place magnets to it and also write with chalks. The small stool inside the table is from Ikea.
Pedal car is LeMans car from Baghera. The Swedish company Brio has so many nice, good looking and educational wooden toys in great colours.
We have an very minimalistic/modern home so it was natural for us to make our boys room also very minimalistic and not looking so babyish :)
I still laugh at what people think minimalism is.
I want that teepee!
As you propably know kids rooms are impossible to keep all the way minimalistic. This is the closest we manged :)
There are several teepee diy instructions on web if you are intrested making one.
Kids LOVE the teepee!
Love the room, and even more - love your kiddo's name! We're actually considering it for our soon-to-be baby...
Can I ask you what nicknames he has?? It's got me stumped....
Thanks!
Hi :) Thanks! We love his name also. Nicnames we use is Casi/Kasi (Kasi(kahdeksan)means number 8 in finnish) or Cassu/Kassu. (Rarely we also use Cas/Kas). Good luck for you pregnancy!
