After spotting this image in Thonet's catalog, we were so struck by the arrangement of chairs on the wall that we went searching for a little more information. Turns out the space is a 1930s building in Pamplona, recently re-designed by Spanish architecture firm Kahle Oíza Arauzo...

The architects fitted out the interiors with plenty of storage space, from hooks for hanging chairs to entire walls of louvered panels that conceal supplies.

The color palette is black and white, with finishes ranging from mirrored surfaces to lacquered panels to natural wood furnishings.

The design combines classic forms, like the Thonet cafe chair, with contemporary glass, steel, and concrete.
