This weekend we treated ourselves to something we had not enjoyed in a long while: a two hour, late afternoon siesta. We used to nap regularly in your youth, but with our weekends as busy as our weekdays, we had nearly forgotten the wonderful pleasure of slipping inside cool sheets and feeling the heavy embrace of several comforters ontop, guaranteeing a check-in into the Snooze Motel. We slept the sleep of gods Sunday afternoon, and woke up refreshed to work well into the late evening (probably too late, really), a luxury we hope to enjoy a little bit more often.
Some people say 15-30 minutes is optimum for a nap (bah!), while others like ourselves like to push the snoring limits around 2 hours before waking back up. What's your inclination for that most special of weekend hobbies, taking a nap?
