It's so good to hear that most of you are doing quite well. I want you to keep it up as we go through the onslaught of Thanksgiving next week, and here's my tip for having a good one. Before you head home or have friends and family over, think your way through the evening and decide what you want to achieve in advance. Think about who you want to make sure to talk to and how long you want to stay. Think about finding the time to enjoy your food. Think about what remarkable opportunity you will have to be around friends and family and don't let it pass without connecting with the people who are most important in your life right now. Regret comes mainly from things that don't get said at times like these, and I find that this holiday can be terribly depressing when it follows the same old patterns and you feel tired out by it afterwards.

Take charge and make it a really good holiday for yourself and those around you. And then clean up and rest up. You'll feel great if you do. More

Week Six catches us on the downhill for the Midwest Fall Cure. And like most downhill slopes it's time to kick up your feet and enjoy the ride. We have seen a great deal of hard work and improvement in all of your homes via the Midwest Flick Pool, so a little rest and relaxation is in order. This weekend can be a true test to see if the changes you have made are allowing your home to function in the manner you need it to.

Hey, that's amazing. A surprising number of you do a considerable amount of work from home - see survey. Perhaps that's why your taking so much care of it now. Good for you.

Meanwhile, you are in the home stretch now and you should watch out for slipped (like me). It's easy for life to intrude and I know how bad it can be. This is a good time of year to WANT to fix up your home, but with the holidays coming, there's a lot to do. I say work hard and rest after. This is your moment to do this work and it will pass. Go for it.
