Congratulations to Egg Collective on their recognition as an amazing first time exhibitor at ICFF. Check out yesterday's post for more on their story along with few shots from their booth at the fair.
Gabriel Kakon and Scott Richler of Gabriel-Scott have been in NY for the past few days. The young Canadians aren't seeing many of the city's sights, however. They're here to show their first furniture and lighting collection, Blackened Gold, at ICFF (The International Contemporary Furniture Fair), the annual furniture fair that's currently taking over the Jacobs Javits Center. Their collection, star-shaped tables accented by gold pieces, and bling-tastic chandeliers, hide an intriguing secret; they're actually flat packed and come deconstructed. I sat down with them to talk inspiration, perspiration and anticipation as they prepped for the big weekend. More
As the Apartment Therapy readers knew, even before the ICFF attendees (thanks to a quick sneak peek last week), Jonathan Adler & Kohler launched some wonderfully colorful sinks at the fair. They were even more vibrantly wonderful in person! But, that's not all we have to report from Mr. Adler... More
Today's How-To is the Extended Version of Wednesday's post (How to Make a Hammered Light with John Gleeson Connolly) and we hope it will ignite your weekend craving to get back to your garage and rewire those old extension cords into inventive little lights. More
Children's nurseries were never viewed the same again, after Where the Wild Things Are was published in 1963. As a proud Max myself, and a lover of all his books, along with many others here at Apartment Therapy, we salute Maurice Sendak, his life and work. It's no surprise that David Bromstad's show on HGTV is called Color Splash. The lanky designer has a frank, engaging manner that outshone even the bright yellow accents in the lobby of the corporate apartment building that is serving as his temporary home while the show is filming. More

Size: Camille's Office - 200 sq. ft, Intern's Office - 60 sq. ft.
Take a moment to sit back and let the cheerful, well-traveled style of Camille entertain you as we go behind the blog of Camille Styles. This ambitious, driven, mother-to-be has been on the fast track ever since she moved to Austin in 2006 — leaping from a position at a catering company to the head of her own events company to the personality behind the lifestyle and entertainment blog featured today. We had a chat at her home office to see how she brings it all together. More
Designers spend much of their time creating beautiful environments for others. But what happens when they turn their significant talents on themselves, in their own homes, and in their most personal spaces? More
I admire, respect, and enjoy Martha Stewart, but she does say the darndest things. Last time, we marveled over her packing and moving tips (how to pack a chandelier, make a separate trip for every single mirror), and this time I thought I'd share Martha's best bedroom bon mots... More
Is there anything sexier than a girl who knows her way around a guitar? Or a guy who can write a song? I mean, really write a song? I have to admit, I've always crushed out on musicians, because apart from having enviable talent, they're just cool. They tend to follow the beat of their own drum, sometimes to a fault. They also tend to live pretty colorful lives, and inhabit pretty intriguing bedrooms. Dig it. More
