What do you love about your bedroom?:

I love the airy feel of it. It is overall white but I have left a piece of the original concrete wall in sight. This gives the room a soft industrial touch that I truly love. I have a locker to store jeans and t shirts and some other things I do not wear very often. On the inside of the doors I added fashion images for inspiration. I love them so much that I often keep one door half open. The colors in my bedroom are mostly black and white with a gray floor ... I add color with different bedspreads and cushions.

I love the high ceiling and stature of our bedroom. I also love the original woodwork and period details in the crown moldings, ceiling medallion, fireplace, pocket doors with etched glass, parlor mirror and window shutters.

My bedroom is so comfortable. The bed is a dream and every item in the room is useful or has a wonderful memory. The heart collage of photos is one of my favorite elements. I found the heart frame on the street and filled it full of the people I love.

My bedroom is like a tiny jewel box. It's actually the biggest and brightest room in my very small apartment, and was a key selling point in an otherwise light challenged space. Many people advised against painting a small room dark blue, including my painter, and I almost chickened out. But it was the best decision I made...the bermuda blue walls play off the amazing New York City skyline outside my window. The room glows, and is both dazzling and calming at the same time.

It's clean and simple. I have always wanted an all white room and now I have it! Since it's so simple, I love the pattern that the duvet brings and the color from the shelf of books. It is a small room with a large window and it always feels bright and cheerful to me when I wake up in the morning.
