For the last 18 months I have been using a mop and bucket to clean my floors, which are rather expansive. The slick walk back and forth to the sink just doesn't cut it. As I've gone along, I've realized the key isn't in what mop you use, it's all about the bucket! More
Normally you'll find buckets of pet-friendly ice melt inside my front door. Midwest Winters are brutal and I grew up with ice storms that shut down the city for days on end. Does the space between your keys on your keyboard look like your little brother's mouth after eating corn on the cob? Does your smartphone screen have more smudges than the sneeze guard at Hometown Buffet? Why not start the year on a clean and tidy foot: the BuzzBrush was designed to keep all your tech clean with a debris brush on one end and a microfiber cleaning pad on the flip. At just under $5 you can gift one to yourself or make a subtle hint to someone you know that it may be time to uncover the characters hidden under the food grease and cookie crumbs.

While cleanliness is important to us, we are not made of money so we need to be thrifty in our pursuit of tidiness. Matter of fact, the tools that we use to keep our laptop clean and tidy may surprise some since they happen to be borrowed for our bathroom... More
When we get sick we always run our toothbrushes through the dishwasher afterward to keep from reinfecting ourselves. This generally destroys the bristles and we're soon looking for another one, but it's better than getting sick again. Instead of wasting our brushes (we use electric so replacement costs add up) we've decided to get a toothbrush sanitizer. We're not sick all the time, but it is nice to know that stick we're constantly jamming in our mouth is clean. Here are the ones we're looking at. More
