Pink is one of those colors that you either love or hate. I've always found it to be excessively girly — a little too Barbie for my taste. But the recent resurgence in pastels may have me changing my tune.
There's something so appealing about the color peach — not quite orange, not quite pink, it's soft and feminine without being too girly. In a myriad of shades from the nearly coral to the barely-there, peach adds an element of fresh prettiness to any room.
I feel as if I haven't written about a dark color in a bedroom in so long, and they've so thoroughly pervaded the internet these last few years. One half of this couple needed convincing on this point at first, but not for long. We originally discussed using a soft gray blue, but our test sample looked so dull and Colonial and, well — conventional that we finally moved on.
