Logitech Touch Mouse M600
$69.99
Logitech

The humble mouse has seen a resurgence in the last couple of years, thanks for the elimination of visible buttons and scroll wheels. Touch and gestures are where it's at now, and Logitech throws in a stylish option with their Touch Mouse M600. Probably the most interesting feature is the M600 only requires one AA battery, with the option for two for a 6 month run time. That's one efficient digital rodent. We hope to follow up soon with a hands-on review, but for now, these are available for pre-order directly from Logitech. More

Got out of my crummy comfortable work-at-home clothes last night to sneak into the nearby Apple store right before closing to pick up a new Apple wireless keyboard. I love these compact models for their quality and small desk-friendly form factor, but like a lot of Apple products, they're priced at a premium (obviously one I'm willing to pay). That being said, I noticed later there was a decent affordable alternative from an unexpected source: Amazon. More

There's something warm and simply fulfilling about having a couple Moleskine notebooks laid out on an office table. A plethora of gadgets (in our case, a number of iPads from our collective Apple-lovin' officemates) doesn't really get across that same cozy feeling. What better way than to get the best of both worlds by sprucing it up with one of our favorite Moleskine-inspired cases to integrate into your life? More

If you're looking for some of the most dramatic improvements in daily task performance on your computer, you'll want to switch out your traditional hard drive to a solid state drive (think of it as a huge internal flash thumb drive). You'll also want to check your bank account, because SSD drives are still quite expensive. Seagate is offering an excellent compromise, a hybrid of both traditional and dependable 7200 RPM spindle technology, married with an 8GB flash memory buffer, the best of both two worlds (speed and dependability at a reasonable price). $199.00
Doxie

I own a flatbed scanner and I'm always thankful I've got one when I need to use it. But if I had to add up the times I actually need the scanner's services, I could probably count the number of times on two hands for an annual total. That means the rest of the time, even the fairly slim form factor scanner we own takes up a lot of room. That's why something like the Doxie Go + Wi-Fi scanner seems appealing: wireless syncing, with no computer required, with the option to upload directly to cloud apps like Evernote, Flickr, or Dropbox using an Eye-Fi X2 wireless SD card. The Doxis is also 1/5th the size of a regular flatbed unit, making it well suited for both home office and on-the-go use. More

012712_rg_iTunesWiFiCalibration_01.jpgThere's definitely something awesome about wireless syncing. Although syncing isn't that time consuming, depending on the amount of data that you want to share with your iOS device, the wireless option just makes everything easier. And if you haven't calibrated your MacBook's battery in a while, here are a few more tricks to drain that battery faster. More
