Design: Morphological Luminescence
Materials: Acrylic glass, LED strip lighting, aluminum spacers, steel washers, aircraft cable, aluminum hollow rod

Pitch: Morphological Luminescence is a 36" pendant luminaire constructed of 93 digitally fabricated 1/8" acrylic glass components. Utilizing CAD/CAM technology, each panel has been laser cut to allow for the internal components of the luminaire such as the light source and its structural cage . By sectioning the initial form, the luminaire is essentially an algorithm of seperate components working together as one. Each digitally fabricated element when combined, transforms the luminaire into a singular element of light.

Design: Segno
Materials: High quality glossy black and white ABS for appearance and durability and brushed stainless steel for the serving pieces.

Pitch: Segno, the Italian word for "sign," was inspired by active and adventurous people who enjoy experimenting, entertaining, and living life to its fullest. Throughout life's journeys, society is universally guided by well designed geometric shapes. By altering shapes based on signage, Segno symbolizes bringing life's journeys to the table. The paths we have chosen exemplify a feast of self-expression, joy, and experimentation.

Design: up-dn chair
Materials: Solid hardwoods

Pitch: The idea for the up-dn chair came to me while chatting with a friend. I sketched out a chair that served as a rocker and as a regular stationary chair. After various iterations, refining and defining the proportions, I eventually decided that the only way to get it right was to just build it. After many hours of fabrication, it took shape.

Design: WFOUR Side Table
Materials: Solid hardwoods

Pitch: I started WFOUR Design with the goal of creating custom furniture using solid hardwoods, fun colors, and timeless design. Inspired by a multitude of styles and after numerous sketches and prototypes I have created my first series of side tables using a unique one-piece leg system.

Design: Chelsea Chair
Materials: Oak, Sapele, Love

Pitch: "The Chelsea Chair was a chair I designed and built for a school project, based off of the vibrant lifestyle of Manhattan. focusing specifically on the Chelsea neighborhood because of its crazy arts scene (hundreds of galleries!) and unique youthful culture."

Design: Apoc Desk/Floor Lamp
Materials: Red Oak/Black Walnut

Pitch: "Apoc stands for apocalypse. When the world ends, fancy lamps will be of little use and more primal needs like warmth and food will take precedence. This desk lamp can be deconstructed and turned into a small kindling fire at a moments notice. Just large enough to cook a rat."

Design: Floral Lace Chair
Materials: Acrylic and Crochet Lace

Pitch: "The Floral Lace Chair is a combination of function and fashion, featuring a sleek acrylic frame encasing delicate crochet lace within the back and sides. The seat is upholstered in silk. The inspiration for this piece came out of the desire to make a chair that was as beautiful as a dress and as irresistible to women as a pair of shoes!"

Design: Lithe Desk
Materials: Wood, Steel, Aluminum, MDF, Felt, Cork, Dry Erase

Pitch: "As creatives, we have always strived to surround ourselves with inspiring objects. What better place to be inspired than where you create? Artifox seeks to create the cleverest of artifacts. The Lithe desk is purposeful and practical, with a graceful slimness and flexibility. When a brilliant idea presents itself, the clean white dry-erase surface is a blank canvas for to do lists, sketches, formulas, etc. "

Design: The Sky Scratcher: Chicago
Materials: Recycled Cardboard, Bamboo Plywood, Catnip

Pitch: "The Sky Scratcher: Chicago is an aesthetically pleasing, eco-friendly cat scratching post that both you and your cats will love. Using cardboard (which is inherently recycled in its manufacturing process) and bamboo plywood (the most Eco-friendly, green, self-regenerating wood products on the market) to construct The Sky Scratcher means your mind will be at ease because you know your cat(s) will be scratching till their little hearts are content in a healthy, eco-friendly manner."

Design: Kibako lamp
Materials: Sycamore veneered plywood, sycamore veneered sheet, LED light bulb

Pitch: "Created as a collaboration between designers Louis Maucout and Mathias Astúa, Kibako is a wall lamp that puts in confrontation the traditional Japanese lamp, the an-don, with the abstraction of modernity. Turned off, Kibako pesents itself as the simplest expression of a an-don volume: a rectangular parallelepiped. Turned on, the lamp reveals its only ornamental detail: the wood's grain."
