- What I Love About My Small Home:
- My house is a 1920s hunting cabin situated in the hills. It has lots of natural light, and I love being able to open all of the windows and doors in the summer, which creates a really nice through breeze. In the winter months I love to be able to light the fire and enjoy the coziness of my small house.

- What I Love About My Small Home:
- I love that I live in my sister and bro-in-law's guest house -- it's very Katherine Heigl, Knocked Up. Though I'm not blonde or pregnant. Anyway, it's a fantastic space, conveniently located in West Hollywood. I can walk to just about anywhere, with great food and shopping all around. The icing on the cake...a City Target across the street! My favorite thing about my small home is my back patio, which my cute dogs can enjoy at their leisure.

- What I Love About My Small Home:
- This is our first place together and we love that we've been able to decorate our small home as a couple, mixing and melting our distinct styles into one. We also love the tall ceilings and large windows which give our space room to breathe and provide a beautiful view of the Crescent City skyline (no matter how many tchotchkes I cram into the space)! We absolutely love that even in our small space we've been able to host potlucks and parties comfortably! What's a nice home without good company?

- What I Love About My Small Home:
- I actually love the dinginess of this apartment. When we lived in a newly remodeled apartment I never quite felt at home, and many of my quirkier possessions and art pieces looked out of place rather than like treasured items. I find it easier to dress up a run-down space than to force character onto a sterile one.

- What I Love About My Small Home:
- I enjoy my home because it has a subtle sense of humor and doesn't take itself too seriously. The cacti arranged by height is one example of this. Another example is how I propped our dining table higher (to fit dining chairs under) by placing old magazines under its legs. Sure, it looks a tad ridiculous, but I like it. One last point: a little bit of controlled messiness never hurt anybody.

- What I Love About My Small Home:
- We love how it draws us in and shelters us. There is room for gathering and conversation, and there are places for seclusion and solitude. The great room includes our kitchen with its simple painted cabinets and open barnwood shelves, our dining area with its banquette tucked beneath a window, and the living area with its full size sofa, vintage chairs, and floor-to-ceiling bookcases. Subtle architectural details and lighting define each area within this main room. The master bedroom is a place for seclusion and reprieve just down the hall. And for our three boys? A bunk-room loft reached by a ship's ladder stair! We love how the many windows open the house to natural light, and how the singular palette of painted board walls and ceilings throughout provides a backdrop of serenity and a canvas for creativity. We love all these things about our house, yes...but most of all we love that our home is paid in full!

- What I Love About My Small Home:
- Our home is a small cottage in the middle of a big city, and although the space is limited, we were fortunate enough to have decorated our outdoor space to make our home an indoor/outdoor living situation. Additionally, our home is surrounded by windows and french doors which allow a tremendous amount of sunlight making an ambiance of positive energy with relaxation in a little oasis.

- What I Love About My Small Home:
- We love that living in a small space has helped us to become intentional about all of the "stuff" that we have in our lives. We also love that the open floor plan gives the feeling of a bigger space.
