I was out for a stroll the other day when I heard it: the tinkling, warbling, tinny sound of summer — an ice cream truck! I couldn't even pretend to play it cool. My heart still skips a beat when I hear an ice cream truck kicking out the jams in the distance. So let's get excited about the sweet, sticky months ahead. First order of business: ice cream.

These fun and witty illustrations were created by The Project Twins. Here, the visual and literal intersect as graphic prints teach the meanings of strange and unusual words. For example, the title of the main image above, pogonotrophy, means the act of cultivating or grooming a mustache or beard!

I've been working on my closet for some time now, trying to figure out how to maximize space and make it feel less utilitarian and more glamorous. The only time I've ever slept in a bunk bed was at summer camp, and I loved it. While most of us aren't sleeping away in cabins, everyone can use space-saving furniture. For kids, lofted and bunk beds are a great option.

My dad is an amazing photographer, and thanks to him there are decades' worth of gorgeous, priceless photos of my extended family.. but only a few of him.
