I recently moved back home for the summer, and my childhood room needed an upgrade in the wall art department. I found some pretty (and free!) botanical prints from Poppytalk that I plan to use, but I also found two other sources for downloadable prints that I shared in the links below. I am going to print them out and use washi tape to temporary hang them, but you can frame them and create a beautiful gallery wall as well. 

Lights with colorful cords have been popping up everywhere recently, and they always seem to look good. They're a bit laid-back, a bit unexpected, and a bit artistic. If you want one or two for your house, here are a few options, from lovely artisan-made lights to great DIY resources. 

I've always believed the best technologies are the ones which allow you to spend more time doing the things that matter the most to you. Because I doubt many of us want to spend time opening and closing window coverings throughout the house, why not automate privacy and shading from the convenience of an app?

Now that it's spring, I've been dreaming of bright, fresh colors and whimsical decor. When I found this House of Hackney wallpaper, featuring an accordion-playing lemur, a hookah-smoking sloth, and a julep-drinking badger, I knew there was a mood board in the offing. This look isn't for anyone who's wary of pattern and color, but even if it isn't your cup of tea, hopefully the colors and cute animals will brighten your day.

I didn't make it across from LA to NYC this year for ICFF (here's our coverage from the show floor), but that doesn't mean I wasn't keeping an eye out for all the home furnishing developments on the horizon, especially those designs incorporating technology into unique form factors like this collaboration between designer François Chambord and computer manufacturer, Lenovo...
