No matter how many wireless products you use, you probably still have several wires coming off your laptop. If you want access to a printer, scanner, and synching bases for your mobile devices, it's hard to enjoy the look and convenience of working at a computer without wires.

Things can really get ugly if you work in your living room, if you've gotten yourself a sleek desk with no room for wires, or if you want to be able to use your computer in more than one place; spreading out on the dining table one day and curling up on the couch the next. When you want a workspace that disappears at the end of the day, wires can definitely be a problem.

After many delays getting to market, Belkin promises to finally release their Cable-Free USB hub this month. More

Computers are central to most people’s lives and take a prominent place in our living space because of how we use them- seated, with our hands, eyes and ears engaged. If a home office doesn’t need to replicate a cublicle, then it makes sense that computers should be integrated centrally, in the same manner as lighting and furniture.

Several steps beyond glueing wood veneer to your laptop, The handsomely designed computers from Suissa are a beautiful execution in craft. Before I saw them on Gizmodo, I was still wishing my laptop was Pantone 165–colored, and working on getting a better-looking sleeve to tote it in for outings, but if you’re going to make a commitment to a desktop computer, you might as well think in terms of more substantial design and décor.

Ryan says: It's funny where your priorities lie when you are renovating. After barely finishing the kitchen and bathroom (we don't even have mirrors hung yet) what's the next logical step in the process? Decorating the master bedroom? Actually hanging a mirror so that fixing your hair in the morning isn't done by feel? Turns out that setting up a media system in the main living space is the correct answer.

Meet Ben Durrell , a Boston-based furniture designer/maker who has recently launched the "A Yankee Amendment" series available exclusively at Vessel in Boston until the beginning of the year.

I left Art Basel in Miami with more of a buzz as to who was throwing which party than who was the new "It" in Design or Art.

Spread throughout Miami where shows and exhibits of Art, Design, Photography, with it's main Stage at the Miami convention center. I went in search of something new at Design Miami, located in Miami's design district. What struck me most were a few pieces by Paula Hayes located at the Mosaic Building, 155 NE 40th St Miami. Lift-Off Loves took place at Buro Vormkrijgers, an innovative design studio located in a posh office setting in the heart of Eindhoven. During Dutch Design Week, this large light-filled space transformed each of its offices into display rooms where each designer selected by the Buro presented fresh and innovative work in the fields of interior and product design.

Moving is a pain. Especially moving with kid(s).. from the planning and packing to traveling and unpacking. Who wants to hear all the screaming or wants to keep stopping them from running around unpacking boxes a second after you sealed them.

Believe it or not though, kids love to help. They love the feeling of being present and important (for better or worse), and believe me,
assigning them some responsibilities can actually help both you and

It's rare when DWR's furniture is actually "within reach" but the Cubitec shelves are an affordable standby in the retailer's continually-shifting product line.
