Chris and Rebecca have founded two thriving businesses, InfraRed5 and Brass Monkey, and were recently listed as one of Boston's power couples. But even with their intense focus on growing their businesses, they still have the passion to create a beautiful home. Located in the centre of Boston's Jamaica Plain neighborhood, their home is lovely and welcoming.

Nadia's Laurel Canyon house has a bit of an interesting history: once inhabited by Joni Mitchell, the home was made famous by the song "Our House," Graham Nash's ballad celebrating their love affair. And although I knew that there weren't any cats in the yard (there are two dogs; the Geller's big golden retriever came out to greet me instead), for anyone familiar with the song and a fan of the reclusive Canadian singer, it's hard not to look for them. Tucked away in the Hollywood Hills, it's easy to forget, when you step inside, that you're only minutes from busy, noisy Sunset Boulevard.

If you were only the third owner in the 113-year history of a historic house, what level of responsibility would you feel for it? Tyler & Chris' home is one of Saint Louis' many huge, old brick mansions that are marvelously preserved. We always drive by these classic Victorian manors and wonder what they look like inside. You can imagine how thrilled we were when Tyler and Chris opened up their doors and let us photograph their lovely home.

Fixing up a century-old bungalow is not always easy—especially when it seems that the former owners had a love of all that was sickly pink—but Kathryn and her family have managed to "design around" plenty of nooks, crannies, narrow rooms, storage shortages, and low ceilings to create a home that's perfect for their fun-loving family.

Beauty permeates every inch of the Austin home of Lindsay Nakashima, the grandniece of famed Mid-Century Modern furniture maker George Nakashima. His modern and warm wood furniture designs mix with Lindsay's refreshingly simple and honest approach to design, to create a home that's entirely welcoming. And though the house has recently been sold to a new (obviously style-loving) family, we got to speak with Lindsay about her home, her great-uncle's furniture and her calming, understated style.

Julia and Zeus loved their California bungalow, but the space was divided into so many small rooms, and they dreamed of completely opening up the space. With a little help from two very talented architects, the main areas are now one large, connected space. Julia and Zeus love that they can stand in the living room and see through to the backyard.

Grant had a vision for this neglected house. Even though the realtor showed the house with fugly curtains, one sofa and a copier in the living room, and a run down yard, Grant and Mark were sold and immediately got to work. Re-do the kitchen, make the breakfast nook a reading nook, call in a landscape expert, and paint, paint, paint — check!
