On the left side of a cozy little duplex in Ballard (the tour of the other half is coming up next week), Chika Eustace and her husband Jared Randall live with their son Lisle in a colorful and creative space. The duplex (sweetly referred to as "The Dupe") is co-owned by Chika and Jared, along with Chika's business partner Jean and her fiance, Dylan. Chika and Jean own R&L Goods, a textiles and accessories company, and the two couples have found a serene and productive way to combine work and life.

I got really excited when I had the opportunity to take a peek into the co-founder's home to see just how he mixes BLIK decals with his contemporary decor.

I love to see homes where people have fun and aren’t afraid to experiment with their decorating. This colorful family home in Manchester, England is exactly that, as each room is a riot of color and pattern. The living room features wallpaper with sprawling green leaves by William Morris at Sanderson, one of the children’s rooms is accented with canary yellow woodwork, and a rainbow striped stair runner winds its way through the entire house.

I came across Danny and Christy's amazing home online while hunting down lodging for a few funky-fresh out of town visitors we were expecting. I wanted to find them a place that was fun, unique and totally unexpected — a place that would represent Denver's arts and design community and possibly encourage them to move! Once I'd laid eyes upon this hundred year old church/Masonic lodge/Mexican restaurant/burrito factory/home, I knew I had to share it with the Apartment Therapy community.

I first visited Matt's Eclectic Park Avenue Pad in Raleigh, North Carolina back in October of 2011. At the time I was completely blown away by his ability to turn his 1901 duplex rental into a visually stunning respite filled with a hodgepodge of hand-painted art, vintage furniture, and personal photographs. His unique Art Deco and Mid Century finds blended effortlessly with the space's 100-year-old wood floors and glass doorknobs.
