When I was asked to photograph this adorable nursery with her, I immediately felt how strong the aesthetic was and wanted to share it in a tour. Turning Michael's family's design wishes into fruition she has created a gorgeous space that he will continue to grow into.

With a stylish mom like Trina guiding the way, it's no surprise that both children and adults swoon over Ella's room. Trina and her nine year old daughter Ella worked collaboratively to design the room, which is inspired by Scandinavian design with splashes of color and elements of fun.

When I first saw Alice Mae's nursery I thought it was the perfect combination of color and neutrals, modern and vintage, clean lines and warm textures. Her mom Kate approached the space much as she would have the rest of her home, but with a few fun twists for the baby. I love that she kept the crib simple, but accented it with her own handmade quilt and adorable stuffed animals. The gorgeous patterned rug and bright artwork and accessories add life and fun to the otherwise soothing neutral space.

We've talked before about white children's rooms with pops of color. Evidently, I'm not alone in my love of this aesthetic. I found Lesley on Pinterest while searching for inspiration for my own daughters' shared room.

Although Jane's nursery is on the small side, her mother, designer Kirsten Krason, made sure every inch of the space was special. A neutral backdrop of soft silvery gray allows all of the jewel-toned furniture and accessories to shine. I'm amazed at how each piece in the room is somehow stunningly beautiful but still works in harmony with the others. A virtual jewel box of colors, patterns, and textures create a room that will both stimulate and soothe its tiny inhabitant.

When I found out I was pregnant, we had an under-decorated guest room acting as a catchall for abandoned furniture. With almost no decorating budget, I had to find a way to turn that space into a nursery. An avid thrifter and bargain hunter, I know that finding the right pieces at the right prices can take months, so I started shopping right away...

When your mother is a professional stylist you know you're going to end up with an amazing room. Rikke Graff Juel designed this space for her daughter, Olivia Ellen, in much the same Scandinavian style as the rest of her home - white walls, plenty of vintage wood pieces combined with fresh modern colors and accessories. The space somehow manages to feel simultaneously sophisticated and perfectly playful - a charming room that will grow well with its little inhabitant.
