Maren's mom, Lisa, is clearly clever about color and making the most of a small space. So it's not surprising, then, that Maren's nursery was one of the winners of our Smaller Cooler 2011 Contest. We were so happy when she let us delve into a full fledged tour of her daughter's room so we could see even more photos of her cool, bright popsicle-ish color scheme in action and learn more about her clever storage ideas.

The last time we visited Lainey she was sharing a room with her little sister, Nella. The two girls are the stars of Kelle Hampton's well loved blog, Enjoying The Small Things. Kelle recently decided that Lainey should have a room of her own, but there were no empty bedrooms. Never one to let "minor" details hold her back, Kelle set out to create Lainey's new bedroom in the dining room. We see a pattern emerging here, as the room that Lainey shared with Nella used to be an office. Rock on with the repurposed rooms.

If something seems a tad familiar about Esme's colorful room, it's because we featured the home of her parents, Kim and Paul, on the site a few years ago: Kim and Paul's Twin Peak. They've got an eclectic, modern look that they translated to a youthful, fun look for their baby girl's nursery!

Our friend Megan at Whatever tipped us off to this beautiful room and the pictures took our breath away. Over at The Macs we learned the story of Levi's family and we were incredibly moved by this family's love, strength and faith. Mama Mac Jessica puts incredible heart and soul into everything she does and it comes through so clearly in Levi's lovely room, from the handpainted mural and homemade pillows to the artfully organized closet and customized roller shades.

For this Room Tour post, we have not one but two rooms to share with you from sisters Ava and Piper! Their rooms compliment each other so well that we couldn't just feature one. With fresh white walls, furniture with clean lines and pops of pattern and color, you can't help but feel cheery! Their mom Hannah shares with us her inspiration for her daughters' bright spaces.

If you close your eyes and picture a little boy's cowboy inspired room in Texas, we're betting you'd come nowhere close to picturing this room. Two entire walls of windows with breezy white drapes keep it light and fresh, and the overall look is just about as gender neutral as it gets. Sure, there's a vintage wooden gun, a Ranch Style Beans print, and a guitar signed by Willy Nelson, but we still almost hesitate to call it a cowboy room, unless the cowboys read Domino Magazine and shop at estate sales. That's the kind of cowboy room it is. And it's perfect!

The result is a perfectly eclectic and homey room that contains lots of points of interest but keeps plenty of breathable, fresh white space in tact.
