It doesn't take a jug of toxic chemicals to clear most slow or clogged drains. A drain auger can help cut through the hair, grease and food that's clogging a drain without flushing chemicals through to the water system.

This is an exciting week because our kitchen countertops got measured on Monday and installed on Friday! We chose Cesaerstone in “Pure White” for the counters along the walls. The stone company (Marble City) was nice enough to rush the job and also give us the material from the sink cutout to use as a pastry board.

It's amazing how it all came together after the counters were installed. We decided to go for the subway tile. In a big way. Imagine that. We not only did the backsplash, but we tiled the entire west wall, floor to ceiling, where the range stands.
