For whatever odd reason, the Craigslist gods threw me a bone on Monday: my dream sofa was listed. Everyone who knows me knows I love leather sofas. And the Borge Mogensen 3-seater IS my dream of all dreams. And it was listed on Monday. And for a crazy reasonable price. And guess what, I got it!

When I got the invitation to check out one of the most exclusive private clubs in Buenos Aires, I was more than excited. When I walked up to the unassuming door and rang the bell, I was a little confused. But once inside, the nondescript entry leads into a small foyer which opens up to an inviting living area which unfurls into a lush, vibrant backyard bar and pool.
Painting your front door a nice color is pretty common practice, but doing the same to the ones inside your home can add unexpected color and personality. More
Leather chairs and sofas are often associated with the Ralph Lauren-esque faux pioneer lodge look. Think big, overstuffed and masculine. Alternatively, one may think of a cheesy 1980s bachelor pad where a sleek leather sofa is paired with a metal and glass coffee table and an oversized vase or two. But think again.
Q: We bought this leather ottoman in used condition (it's originally from Pottery Barn). We use it as a coffee table in front of our couch and usually put a wooden tray on it to hold items. One day, I went to lift up the tray and a patch of the leather came off with the tray! It didn't leave a hole, but the patch is lighter and a different texture than the rest of the ottoman. I called Pottery Barn and they were not very helpful, suggesting I use shoe polish to fix the color. Is there any way to fix this? Is it safe to use a tray on it? We don't want anymore of the top layer coming off! More
Like what a great pair of leather shoes or a gorgeous motorcycle jacket can do for an outfit, leather accents can add polished sophistication to a room. Striking leather pieces -- from woven pillows, vintage suitcases and steamer trunks, frames, chairs, and useful containers of all sorts -- pair well with softer materials, adding quite the visual impact to a room's decor. When I saw this chair at The Haymaker Shop, it was love at first sight. As a die hard DIYer I started thinking about how I could make a version of this chair myself … More
The sofa that you choose for your living room is a pretty big decision. Leather sofas have always been a staple in design and they are by no means going anywhere. They're far too chic, classic and, well, everything we want them to be, to be replaced by any other fabric. More
Q: I've been scouring the internet trying to find a particular brown leather couch with no luck. It seems simple enough but evidently this couch is hard to come by. Could you possibly help me identify it? More
