The inspiration for Wynn's room came from what might seem like an unlikely source: a thrifted rocking chair that Wynn's mom, Cate, fell in love with. Cate decided to make the butter yellow, armchair-style rocker the seed from which the whimsical meadow theme would grow. WIth nearly everything in the nursery "thrifted or gifted," Cate and her family were able to put together a special, soothing space for their new baby girl.

I like my kids' rooms with only one lump of sugar, not two. Because you don't need lavender kittens with bows to signal that a wee one's in there.
