Lily is our fifth child and (most likely) our caboose. We really wanted a room that celebrated her and expressed how much she is cherished by everyone in our family. More

My husband Chris and I decorated Cian's room using furniture and art that we already had. This was not only for economical reasons, but also because we wanted to put items in his room that we love and that reflect us and our experiences. More

Our Nursery! What a labor of love. As soon as we found out we were having a little boy I went to town searching the web for inspiration -- Pinterest, Apartment Therapy, Project Nursery, etc. I have to admit I think I drove my husband a little crazy with fabric swatches and projects. He was a trooper! More

Kate and her husband live in a historic neighborhood in Virginia in a house that is over 100 years old. When they decided they would need a nursery, they turned to a small guest room that needed some serious TLC. After removing plaster, trim with lead paint, windows, and carpet that was glued to the floor, they spent an entire year reconstructing the room with new windows, drywall, refinished floors and crown moulding. With this blank slate, they set about creating this beautiful and bright space for the little boy they were now expecting.
When Brooke and Luke found out they were expecting a baby boy, they decided to turn their office into a nursery. The problem was, it felt like more of a "man room" than a little guy's nursery with its dark, knotty pine walls. So Brooke and Luke decided to roll up their sleeves and work a little magic with primer and paint. It was a lot of work, but the end result is stunning:

This room used to be orange. Bright orange. Anyone who has been to our home knows that I LOVE color. Bright, bold, paint colors. But when we found out we were expecting, I decided to go in the opposite direction. I wanted a clean white slate. More

We decided to wait to find out what we were having, so I had the challenge of creating a gender neutral nursery. Plus it was a room without a usable closet, so I needed to create storage space. Of course I started scouring Pinterest, Apartment Therapy, and any photos of nurseries I could find to get ideas. More
