The New York International Gift Show returned to the Javits Center this year, and I spent a rather overwhelming few days combing through the aisles trying to take everything in. We first wrote about Lille Huset when they were looking for funding on Kickstarter. Well good news for us: they successfully made their goal and have since launched their line of eco-friendly modular dollhouses, created a new website, and attended their first NYIGF. I visited their booth at the show last week and was impressed by both their design and their green mission.

Mini Hottie Hand Warmers by NPW

I saw these small hand warmers by UK-based company NPW at NYIGF last week and thought they'd be perfect to take along for a day of sledding (if we ever get snow here in NYC that is). By snapping a disc inside, the mini mittens heat up within seconds. They're reusable after boiling in water.

The New York International Gift Show takes up the entire Javits Center as well as a few spaces on the west side piers, but it has only a small section devoted to Baby and Child.
