Your Home Office Organization or Tech Tip: Believe it or not, it's still possible to have a clean and simple home office while having a full-size tower! I'm a full-time student with freelancing as my only source of income, so I simply can't afford to buy an aesthetically well-designed computer. For my setup, I managed to buy the longest cables I could find, and chose to route everything (but the monitor, keyboard and mouse) into a closet ten feet away. This way, my workspace is silent, and I still get the simplicity that I need to concentrate. Everything in my office cost less than $1,000 total, and the constraints I had to work with ended up being a blessing in the end! More

Your Home Office Organization or Tech Tip: We needed a dual use space, this is our office as well as our TV room. So we wanted a workspace that would minimise when we just wanted to sit back and watch TV. When folded up, the desks resemble the shelves on the wall, and double in depth when unfolded. Also, the cables/modem etc. is all hidden behind the fake walls hanging on hinges from under the desk. The hiding of the cables has made the biggest difference to the feel of the room. All of a sudden it felt uncluttered and roomy. More

Your Home Office Organization or Tech Tip: If you want to work with greater efficiency and productivity, just sit back in a reclining chair, navigate using your wireless laser air mouse and type in your wireless keyboard, while sitting over 6 feet away and using large multiple LED/ LCD screens that offers more workspace on your screens. No more sitting up close with strained eyes, sore bum and back at your desk, in front of a tiny LCD screen with limited desktop space. More

Your Home Office Organization or Tech Tip: I run an interactive design and consulting studio, and this is my home studio. The desk is a 1965 Herman Miller Executive desk 40"x80". The back desk is a Biomorph studio desk. My computer is an iMac 27" with a 24" attached. I collect Orange Crush memorabilia and then fell into finding anything vintage that had orange or robin's egg blue in it that complements the chocolate brown walls in the office. More

Your Home Office Organization or Tech Tip: Fun meets function in my studio. Supplies and equipment storage doesn’t need to be standard run of the mill. Personalize your space with creative and whimsical solutions. Also, when a small space serves multiple functions, mobility is key. I put colorful casters on the furniture and equipment so that everything can be moved around as I need it.

Your Home Office Organization or Tech Tip: My wife and I work out of the house everyday, so keeping our workspace clean and simple helps us maintain a positive work environment. We try and minimize all wires, get rid of old magazines, wipe down the dust, and of course sweep the floor everyday because of Haru, our dog, sheds a little. One tip I can give is to make time after you work to clean things up. Nothing beats a walking into a clean office in the morning. More

Your Home Office Organization or Tech Tip: As a stay-at-home Mom and Etsy shop owner. I feel that a home studio should be inspiring. I decorated my studio with bright colors, beautiful pictures, and fun crafts. Try and find new and interesting ways to display your supplies. I found an old magazine shelf and used it to display my patterns, books and buttons. Also, keep your room clutter free and clean to optimize your creativity and work time. More

Your Home Office Organization or Tech Tip: My home office incorporates the LAX Series wall mounted desk and shelf by Mash Studios with under-cabinet lighting to highlight the openness. There's plenty of storage, and I've mounted two magnetic boards behind the monitor for clippings, photos, etc. The cords are concealed in corrugated plastic tubing to minimize the clutter below the desk. The mouse is tucked away under the desk and the keyboard can be stowed easily to free up some desk space. More
