This week we check in on James and Margaret. They are all about change--new apartment and new baby--since we visited them for the making of our latest book, Apartment Therapy Presents: Real Homes, Real People, Hundreds of Design Solutions.

James and Margaret love to update in major ways. They completely transformed their last home. Now they've moved upstairs to a larger apartment and have made it a priority to carve out a private room for their growing toddler. More

Home design and the iPhone. We're proud to say that we recently made it into hallowed company, being compared to the iPhone's designer, Jonathan Ive. They were honored with full bios and favorite posts, joining a list of glowing luminaries such as Jean Aw from NotCot and Brian Ashcraft of Kotaku. We're pleased as punch that our newest blog is out there mixing already!

Newsflash—Blogs! We just retrieved the June issue of
Elle Decor from our mailbox and we were surprised to see Editor in Chief Margaret Russell talking about blogs on the Editor's Page. (ummm, Hello!) Anyway, we're pleased that Apartment Therapy was on her short list of favorite design-minded sites! We're also pleased that Elle Decor's parent company, Hachette Filipacchi is (FINALLY!) addressing the issue of their shelter magazines' web presence. PointClickHome will launch this summer and be a central presence for Hachette's many shelter titles (including Metropolitan Home and Home).
