- What I Love About My Small Home:
- Because it's small, it's also very intimate. We do have an open floor plan in the kitchen and living area (which we love), but it's just the right size for a group of friends to gather and linger over the counter, on the couch, and around the coffee table. Scott's favorite thing? He can vacuum the whole home using just one outlet!

- What I Love About My Small Home:
- Our apartment was built in the 1920’s, complete with an adorable, European-style backyard and old-school fire escape. It has cracks in the walls, uneven flooring, and exposed pipes — just to name a few of its “eccentricities.” Over the last five years, we repainted, replaced, revived, and renewed. Then we thinned, added, and combined to create a space that is thoughtfully organized, comfortable, and totally us. It’s proof that you don’t have to live beyond your means to have everything you need.

- What I Love About My Small Home:
- It's white, clean and minimal -- a minimal design concept providing me the perfect canvas to add my own personal touches time by time. Also, I love the balcony, which gives me a chance to enjoy the view.

- What I Love About My Small Home:
- I've lived for almost twenty years in a wonderful Modernist apartment designed in 1955 by a well-known Sydney architect, Neville Gruzman, and built by the same builders who did the Sydney Opera House. The building is 90% glass curtain walling and louvers, and although the apartments are small with high ceilings, they seem light and have a psychological sense of clear air and space. The whole flat was done in black and white, which unites the various elements. The bathroom punctures the space, which is reinforced by the use of linear monochrome panels. The weight of 'the cube' provides a foil against the lightness of the structure, which creates an essential whole, set in sharp focus. It is also blessed with fantastic views from every vantage point. I love going home.

- What I Love About My Small Home:
- My husband and I met in college where we secretly shared a single, twin-bed dorm room for three years. Moving into a studio and upgrading to a ‘full’ bed made us feel like we had all the space in the world! I have enjoyed the creative and organizational challenges of living in a small space, while still making it feel welcoming and comfortable. We love entertaining in our small space because guests always comment on how cozy and relaxing it feels. I love all the natural light we get, the pleasing color palette and all the personalized touches that really make it feel like our own. Plus, our home only takes about an hour to clean from top to bottom! It’s the perfect size for the two of us.

- What I Love About My Small Home:
- As part of a heritage building, it has the most eccentric charm: a bathroom built over the bed, creaky wooden floors and beautiful architectural details. Also my glorious amassment of local artworks and antique books which have been gifted and collected over the years.
