Touch control lamps have been around for ages, but Cielux ups the ante in the category of task lighting with their Solare Flex, a task lamp sporting a touch pad base that should make any iPad user feel right at home using. Whatever the style — anglepoise, arc or tripod — the leggy lights are theatrical but not entirely superfluous.
