I know, I know, it's a holiday with questionable historical significance and propagated by the gift and greeting card industry to make money, and you're not going to participate. And even if you do go along with it and celebrate your love a little bit more on this randomly-chosen day, you don't need a materialistic token to represent it. You'd be overjoyed with a sweet little love note or, God forbid, a home-cooked meal from your honey. Me too! But who doesn't also like a little gift now and then?
