The first thing we noticed upon unwrapping our new organic sheets from CB2 was what we didn't
notice. No plastic packaging (just a reusable cloth bag) and no unpleasant chemical odor. Made with organic cotton, inks, and dyes, this bedding is clean, classic, and notably soft.
Although CB2's organic sheets have been on our radar
for awhile, it wasn't until last week that we finally purchased a set for ourselves. We'll need to give them some time before offering a definitive opinion, but after one washer-dryer cycle and one week of sleep, we are positive about the quality and feel.
The 300 thread count percale sheets are made from Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)-certified 100% organic cotton, inks, and dyes. They feel soft yet crisp, and we suspect they'll hold up better than our Target bamboo sheets (which were insanely soft but prone to getting loose and twisted).
We also appreciate the clean line of the envelope closure on the pillowcases – a small but elegant detail.
Currently, there are four sets in CB2's range of organic sheets. In addition to the natural color we purchased, the company offers sets in white, ash grey, and Stixx, an abstract arbor design. Prices range from $69.95-$99.95.
