It's always hard to hear the word "fall" when we're so entrenched in summer. But when the good catalogs get their anticipated head starts...well, we can manage talking about autumn just a little bit.
Alas, the CB2 fall collection has arrived, and like the folks over at AT:LA we love the look/idea of the Lubi daybed (featured front and center on the catalog's cover). One reader agrees that the daybed looks great, but says it feels far from it.
Thoughts in Chicago on the Lubi daybed or any other favorites you spotted in the Fall catalog?

I'm a fan of the baroque and bird pillows they had.... trendy, and out of style in a season or two, but i like them a lot right now. Also the large over-sized clock would be great.
I wonder if the Lubi II from apt is any more comfortable?
By the way, wanted to pass on this little tidbit that I heard from the inside. CB2 is planning a store for the San Fran area next spring possibly. You might have already seen the news they are opening a store in SoHo soon.
Look for some of my art work there in the spring!
If anyone still cares I was in the Soho CB2 and 'apt' to check out the Lubi. I can't say the Lubi II is more comfortable but the apt fabrics feels so so much better. I can't explain it but the CB2 fabric feel's icky for lack of a better word. Also I like the chrome legs better on the apt model.
