Name: Cecily Claire (1 month)
Location: Bucks County, PA
Color Inspiration: When we found out I was pregnant, we decided that we didn't want to know the sex. That meant everything needed to be gender neutral (it ended up being a girl!). The search for fabric and a color scheme continued until I came across DwellStudio's Owls Sky set. I've always had a thing for owls used in décor, and I really liked the colors. I had known I wanted light gray walls and white furniture for the nursery; thus the bedding worked perfectly. However, I didn't want the whole room to be in the gray, green, and turquoise colors, so I tried to add in some other colors with the changing pad cover, different colored drawer pulls, colorful toys, and prints on the wall.
Tip for Using Color: I love color, but wanted the nursery to be gray since it's a nice gender-neutral color. I had to find a way to sneak some more color on the walls, though, so I used the age-old trick of an accent wall. In this case I was able to paint one wall green and the sink area of the Jack-and-Jill bathroom turquoise. Even if you're afraid of color, an accent wall is a great way to infuse a bit of color into a room without having to commit to having that color in the whole room. And if you don't like the color? It's just paint!
Colors Used: All colors are Benjamin Moore: "Oxford Gray", "Rosemary Green" (accent wall) and "Ash Blue" (bathroom).
Thanks for your colorful entry Helena and good luck!

What kind of glider is that?
@A Cali It is the Monte Luca glider.
What a fun room! Are those number drawer pulls? I love 'em! Do you have a source?
Really refined use of color here.
Cutest. Nursery. Ever. Love!
@purplemonster Yes, they are numbered drawer pulls. Pottery Barn Kids carried them some time ago but I could only find them on ebay. They originally all came in red; I just spray painted them different colors.
Thank you for the glider info! Nice job on the nursery!
Beautiful. Great job.
Wonderful job on the nursery! It emits a calm, peacefulness along with the beauty. You definitely have your mother's touch.
Lovely room for baby girl! Excellent choice of colors and accessories. Perfect setting for holding and rocking Cecily.
Seven Seven Seven ...
Cecily will love the room.
Love the room... where is the dresser from?
The dresser is the Hemnes from Ikea; I just switched out the drawer knobs.
