Funny, I was just thinking of buying some to toast the our one year anniversary of being homeowners. Though I don't want to spend much, I'm wondering if IKEA has any, or maybe my local thrift store!
@lynell, I was just scouting around my local Marshalls/Homegoods today and I saw a ton of them on sale, a set of 4 for $9.99 and they felt like they were pretty sturdy when I held them in my hand.
@ilovenj, any excuse to check out Homegoods. Thanks for the heads up! :)
@lynell, check out CB2, as well, if you aren't close to a home goods or Ikea. They're the modern spinoff of Crate & Barrel and have some nifty designs for less than you'd expect. They drown everything they ship in protective packaging, too; I've never had anything broken in transit. cb2.com
Now is the time to buy flutes. I waited way too late in the season last year and there wasn't much of a selection. Because I waited too long, couldn't find enough of the ones I wanted. Ended up with an okay-but-not-what-I-wanted set from TJ Maxx.
