I'm sitting at my computer trying to get some work done and all I can think about is Cinco de Mayo (and tacos, chips, pico de gallo salsa, and limeaid). To help celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Apartment Therapy, we thought it was very fitting to showcase decor from luxury homes in Mexico. We love the rich design style and the fantasies of a summer getaway vacation.

For architecture and interior design in Mexico, two of our favorite designers/design firms come to mind: Sandra Espinet and Pascal Arquitectos. Design powerhouse Sandra Espinet has an interior design business that is based in both Los Angeles and San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico, and draws her inspiration from her extensive international travels. She has developed a niche in the San Jose Del Cabo area and we can't say that we don't admire her lifestyle.

Pascal Arquitectos is a partnership formed in 1979 between Carlos and Gerard Pascal. They work in the areas of architecture, interior, landscape, lighting, and furniture design in both residential and commercial applications. Their architectural and fresh contemporary approach to interiors makes our heart flutter.
