This month's Harper's Bazaar did a wonderful job of merging fashion with interior design through the entire issue. One piece that stood out for us was this stunning piece of pottery by artist Jennifer McCurdy. There is something to be said for an artist who can capture movement like this. Jennifer is a resident of Martha's Vineyard and according to her bio she uses her environment and the patterns around her as her muse.
Though we normally buy pottery as a functional part of our lives [Bauer Jardinières for plants, or a unique fruit bowl at the antique swap meet] somehow this seems beyond a lemon holder. According to Bazaar her prices are around $750 for a piece like this. So, it's not at the top of our list of purchases at the moment but if we could, we would.
