Barnacles are typically pesky little creatures that you'd want to remove from a surface, but that certainly doesn't apply to these ceramic beauties. Designed by the Knowhow Shop LA, a cooperative fabrication shop and design studio, these wall barnacles are sure to add instant drama to any vertical space.

Fabricated from matte white clay, they were specifically designed as yet another way to show off your Tillandsia (a.k.a air plants). If arranged in a mass grouping, you'll have a relatively low-maintenance living art display. But with an interior that boasts a brilliant shiny green glaze, they're certain to make a statement even if left empty.
The ceramic wall barnacles made their debut this summer and should be available for purchase sometime soon. For more information on the Knowhow Shop, check out their website.

No. sorry. Just no.
Hmmm...I don't know about that brick wall. It makes them look a bit obscene.
Better on the white wall.
These are cool!
pretty
I like the concept and I think they are kind of cute. I do agree that the brick wall isn't the best way to showcase them. I live in a land of stucco and feel they would be a welcome change. Clustering them together with some scattered about would be cool too. Thanks for sharing!
They look weird on the brick wall.
I think I love these. On the wall, in a bathroom. Not so much on the brick, but design is so subjective that if the owner loves it then great, enjoy!
"They look weird on the brick wall."
In my opinion that is the best part! Alien looking things attached to a wall is pretty awesome. I could have my own little invasion.
I would rather have plants in them that require dirt and water. Not sure if these things are made for it.
